ABSTRACT
Aim of study was to determine the types and distribution craniofacial deformities treated through autologous fat transplantation. Materials method. The group included 36 subjects from OMF Surgery Clinic (Iasi), over period 2009-2016, with defects diverse etiology located in cranial-maxillo-facial territory: traumatic, congenital or postoperative, by lipo-structure technique grafting. Results. categorized two groups: tumoral formation (83,3%) post-traumatic sequelae (6 cases, 16,7%). Tumoral formations were further as follows: pleomorphic adenoma parotid (19.4%), adenoid cystic carcinoma (22.2%), mucoepidermoid (2.8%), gingival-alveolar mandible (8.3%), basal cell masseteric region retromolar triangle squamous left (skin) menton extending anterior arch pelvi-lingual tongue base large maxillary cyst (2.8%). Post-traumatic distributed retractive scars (11.1%), central-facial fracture right posterior lateral-facial temporal bone parietal Conclusions. are dominant cause cranio-maxillofacial region, adenomas carcinomas being most frequent. While less common, they remain a significant concern, primarily involving fractures.
