ABSTRACT
What kinds of fictional literature are most suitable for use in bibliotherapy? And what functions may reading and talking about this serve those participating a bibliotherapeutic group? These questions highly relevant to researchers who carry out scholarly studies librarians work with bibliotherapy practice. However, very little empirical research has been conducted from participant perspective. The aim study is deepen the knowledge these by examining them relation group women feelings sadness after giving birth. material used consists observations ten meetings in-dept interviews participants. analysis shows that participants benefited discussing genres have not traditionally bibliotherapy, such as fantasy realistic fiction thematize issues other than participants’ own problems or health concerns.
