ABSTRACT
Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP) is the most common form of systemic vasculitis in children. Palpable purpura, arthralgia, arthritis, abdominal pain and renal involvement are major clinical manifestations. Gastrointestinal related with bleeding. We described a 71 year-old female experienced acute exacerbation HSP presented gastrointestinal She was hospitalized for hematemesis diagnosed duodenitis by esophagogastroduonenoscopy (EGD). Duodenitis improved at EGD checked 7 days. still complained melena pain. There were no abnormal findings sigmoidoscopy. Jejunal ulcer capsule endoscopy. Symptoms relieved after administration steroid. But she needed replacement therapy 3 months. Small bowel endoscopy patients rarely Korean literature. This case suggests that have role diagnosis small its severity symptom.
