ABSTRACT
Objective: The objective of this study is to determine the practice and associated factors HPV vaccine among school girls in Melaka, Malaysia. Methodology: A total number 612 secondary participated study. questionnaire consists 38 questions which included 3 sections. first section about socio-demography. Second knowledge awareness vaccines. third practices with barriers vaccination. Verbal consent was obtained from all participants, data were analyzed using SPSS 13. Results: girl students mean age <TEX>$13.93{\pm}SD$</TEX> (1.09); minimum 13 years old maximum 17 old. majority them Malay, rural areas had a family monthly income RM 3000 or less (91.8%, 53.1%, 69.6%; respectively). parents education level (56.4%). participants did not have history cervical cancer (99.0%). prevalence vaccination 77.9% Melaka. vaccinated their schools (77.0%). About 69% knew 77.6% ever heard vaccine. Regarding that influence uptake vaccine, they age, race, income, parents' education, cancer, place getting (p<0.001). Conclusions: high. Age, significant girls.
