In Muslim majority countries (MMC) opioid use for pain management is extremely low. The underlying factors contributing to this are not well defined.The aim of study was survey the attitudes cancer patients towards morphine in a MMC and identify that influence patient decisions accept or refuse as treatment pain.Patients were questioned whether they had not, severity medications management. Questions included what type medication thought was, would be willing take if recommended basis their decision against use.Four hundred eighty-eight participated study. Some 50% who refused 36.8% prefer another drug, possible, identified fear addiction decision. Reservation later disease case 22.4% use. Only 13.7 % refusing 9.7% preferred cited religious reasons decision.Identifying low important. Once identified, all efforts should taken overcome them barriers improving
