ABSTRACT
Objective: The objective of this study was to establish a program model for use in wide-spread cervical cancer screening. :Methods: Cervical screening conducted Zhongshan city Guangdong province, China through coordinated network multiple institutes and hospitals. A total 43,567 women, 35 59 years age, were screened during regular gynecological examinations using the liquid-based ThinPrep cytology test (TCT). Patients who tested positive recalled further treatment. Results: TCT-positive rate 3.17%, 63.4% these patients returned follow-up. Pathology results 30.5% women. Women younger than 50 urban dwelling, low-income, had history disease, began having sex before 20 or menstruation, at elevated risk TCT test. recall lower women older poorly educated, early.
