ABSTRACT
Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) was evaluated as a potential prognostic factor in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).Between December 2009 and April 2014, 14 female (35%) 26 male (65%) MDS who were followed up our hematology clinic included the study for NLR during diagnosis. Division into two groups according to NLR, correlation mortality evaluated. The significance of regarding treatment outcome also adjustment known confounding risk factors. The rate patient group 55%, median survival 18 months. There no significant between at value 1.8 (p=0.75). Thrombocytopenia observed increase (p=0.027), there pancytopenia (p=0.017).This first did not show any . In centres limited access genetic evaluation presence and/or thrombocytopenia time diagnosis, platelet level less than 50?109/l may be poor markers patients.
