A total 538 sera collected from residents Khon Kaen province northeastern Thailand for detecting anti-EBV IgG. Sera infants under 2-years-old also tested IgM EBV-DNA. The IgG was 47.1% (95% CI: 23.3-70.8) aged 0-6 months, 34.9% 23.1-46.7) those 6-24 87.9% 79.5-96.3) 3-5 years then maintained at above 95% through adulthood. These seropositivity rates remain similar found a previous study conducted 20 ago. are still exposed age. Therefore, prophylactic vaccine given within first two life.
