ABSTRACT
In terms of awareness Korean traditional food, elementary students are most affected by their parents. The objective this study was to analyze upper grade students' parental and preference foods in the Chungnam Area. a survey 126 parents, 58% subjects were interested foods, but there no significant difference according age. About 87% parents thought that inheritance knowledge on needed. reasons for 'To stick style foods' (68.2%), 'Palatable' (21.8%), 'Education children' (6.4%), 'Beautiful fine custom' (3.6%). point 'Korean easy cooking' increased with increasing age (p<0.01). all groups, highly recognized good health. There correlations between overall preferences Tteok Hankwa (r=0.351, p=0.001), drink (r=0.374, (r=0.406, p=0.001). As result, other items also when one three increased. Therefore, education is necessary order satisfy preferences.
