In Colombia, little known regarding leptospirosis in settings. To establish the seroprevalence leptospiral infection humans, to assess serological reactivity identify factors associated seropositivity. We conducted an prevalence study 259 inhabitants peripheral neighborhoods city Cali, stratified by sex age. Sociodemographic information, time residing same neighborhood, occupation, exposure potentially infectious sources like water or animals, serum used Microagglutination test against 19 Leptospira serovars were obtained. The population was composed mainly students (37.1%), housewives (32%) workers non-formal activities (24.6%). There association between presence contact animals (p=0.038). Reactivity observed 16 evaluated, but antibody titers low.The found this suggests frequent putatively risk Cali. Contact most significant factor antibodies.
