ABSTRACT
Neck pain has a high annual incidence and decreases the cervical active range of motion (ROM). Clinicians use various methods to evaluate (CROM) that some them have also been proposed give instant feedback. Accordingly, this study aimed examine validity reliability Veloflex (VF) measure CROM by comparison with device, their test-retest reliability.Thirty-eight healthy 20 symptomatic participants were evaluated. Cervical flexion-extension, side bending, rotations tested in two sessions, first VF second only VF. To concurrent agreement between VF, Pearson correlation coefficient (r) Bland-Altmann plots used. Reliability evaluated using intra-class (ICC), standard error measurement (SEM) minimal detectable change (MDC).CROM showed excellent for all movements (r > 0.960). Both devices provided small mean 'bias' (≤1.29%) regarding measures. The intra-rater inter-rater was (ICC 0.98). SEMs ranging from 0.72% 2.38% MDC 1.22° 2.60° participants. results support CROM. For its use, basic training is enough get reliable measurements.
