ABSTRACT
Sepsis represents a significant healthcare problem worldwide and causes high number of deaths every year but remains to be fully understood. During after sepsis, the host immune response is complex involves an initial excessive inflammatory infection that closely related tissue damage leads organ failure. Over past three decades, immunotherapy for sepsis has vastly improved, in this area, most influential articles, journals, authors, countries have not yet been completely summarized analyzed.Performed bibliometric analysis on all articles concerning from 1962 2019 was our objective, we also explored potential correlations between publications different their gross domestic product (GDP).All about were extracted Scopus database analyzed. We retrieved GDP data published information World Bank.In summary, 1,483 starting first publication through March 16, 2019. decade, increased by reach 866 total, which accounts 58% publications, with 2017 being prolific when 179 published. The US 604 (41%), followed China (n = 163, 11%), Germany 158, 11%). In terms publishing media, journal highest Journal Critical Care Medicine 65 (4%), Shock 55 35 (2%). There strong correlation numbers (r 0.811, P < 0.001).Our present study analyzed types over 57 years tends make more contributions medical field field. meantime, these studies highlight importance treatment patients. recognition historical status development trend can promote inter-agency cooperation, guide future research, ultimately provide basis clinical practice guidelines.
