Exosomes (EXOs), minute membranous structures originating from diverse biological sources, have recently seized the attention of researchers due to their theranostic potential for neurological diseases. Released actively by various cells, including stem adipose tissue, and immune EXOs wield substantial regulatory influence over intricate landscape complications, exhibiting both positive negative modulatory effects. In AD, play a pivotal role in disseminating breaking down amyloid-β protein....

The objective of the study was to tackle recurrence prostate cancer (PCa) post-surgery and re-sensitize docetaxel (DTX)-resistant PC-3 cells chemo-therapy using NIC. Prolonged DTX therapy leads emergence chemo-resistance by overexpression PI3K-AKT pathway in PCa along with tumor post-surgery. Suppression this could be essential improving anticancer activity re-sensitizing resistant cells. Niclosamide (NIC), an anthelmintic drug has shown tremendous potential re-sensitized various drugs. To...

Abstract The extracellular matrix (ECM) serves not only as a structural scaffold but also an active regulator of cancer progression, profoundly influencing tumor behaviour and the microenvironment (TME). This review focuses into pivotal role ECM alterations in facilitating metastasis explores therapeutic strategies aimed at counteracting these changes. We analyse targeted interventions against collagen, including approaches to inhibit its biosynthesis disrupt associated signalling pathways...

Background: Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder linked to the loss of dopaminergic neurons in substantia nigra. Mitophagy, mitochondrial selective autophagy, critical maintaining and subsequently neuronal homeostasis. Its impairment strongly implicated PD associated with accelerated neurodegeneration. Objective: To study positive effect dimethyl fumarate (DMF) on mitophagy via NRF2/BNIP3/PINK1 axis activation models. Methods: The neuroprotective DMF was...

Introduction: Oxidative stress resulted from free radicals and reactive oxygen species are associated with many diseases. Several studies going on worldwide directed towards finding natural antioxidants of plant origin. Plants containing phenolic compounds have been reported to possess strong antioxidant activity. The aim the present study was screen phytochemical constituents in vitro activity Pithecellobium dulce Benth. aqueous methanolic seed extracts. Methods Materials: (AEPD) extract...
