Abstract The red edge band is considered as one of the diagnosable characteristics green plants, but large-scale remote sensing retrieval fractional vegetation coverage (FVC) based on still rare. To explore application in estimation FVC, this study proposed a new index (normalized difference index, RENDVI) two bands Chinese GaoFen-6 satellite (GF-6). FVC estimated by using three indices (NDVI, RENDVI 1 , and 2 ) were evaluated field survey obtained Minqin Basin Gansu Province. results showed...

The highly detailed building modeling through terrestrial laser scanning has been studied in recent years. Among the applications of models, change detection from street level, which small scale, is relatively new and good potential. Hence based on rebuilt we propose an approach models deploying different epochs TLS data, follows three steps: automatic point cloud registration, model quantification changed regions. presented method only focuses disappearing (for instance erosion, damage,...

High-resolution remotely sensed imageries have been widely employed to detect urban villages (UVs) in highly urbanized regions, especially developing countries. However, the understanding of potential impacts spatially and temporally differentiated internal development on UV detection is still limited. In this study, a partition-strategy-based framework integrating random forest (RF) model, object-based image analysis (OBIA) method, high-resolution remote sensing images was proposed for...

Abstract Piezocatalysis is considered as an emerging alternative to the traditional anthraquinone oxidation process produce hydrogen peroxide by directly converting mechanical energy into chemical energy. However, development of low‐cost, recyclable piezocatalysts with excellent piezoelectric performance highly desired but also challenging. Herein, phosphorous‐doped graphite phase carbon nitride (PCN) a filler was added polytetrafluoroethylene‐hexafluoropropylene (PVDF‐HFP), and this...

Abstract The Quasi-Analytical Algorithm (QAA) is effective in retrieving water inherent optical properties (IOPs) from remote sensing spectral reflectance and has wider applications studies of the open ocean coastal waters than inland waters. This research aimed to modify QAA model based on measured field absorption coefficients render it applicable Daihai Lake, China. improvements mainly included reference wavelength selection, power index particle backscattering coefficient exponential...

Abstract Islands are special bodies of land surrounded by seawater. Many islands facing water shortages as the demand for groundwater increases, thus, highlighting importance and urgency assessment, planning, management island resources. To facilitate same, potential Penghu in China was assessed first time using remote sensing (RS), geographic information system (GIS), analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Long‐term series studies were also conducted to monitor dynamic change identify areas. In...
