En trabajos previos se desarrolló un método para la diferenciación a nivel foliar de respuesta plantas banano marchitez por Fusarium raza 1 mediante utilización filtrados del cultivo hongo. El objetivo este trabajo consistió en realizar selección temprana resistencia mutantes cultivar ‘Zanzíbar’ (grupo AAB, Musa spp.) el evaluación mencionado. Los resultados evidenciaron que las líneas evaluadas clon irradiado indican ser materiales promisorios mejoramiento genético dirigido esta enfermedad.
