Novel indium(iii) phthalocyanines were synthesized. Photophysical properties and the humidity detection capabilities of their films have also been investigated.
Highly aligned multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) as fiber were modified with a conducting polymer via simple dip coating method. Modified MWCNT exhibited admirable improvement in electrocatalytic activity for the reduction of tri-iodide dye sensitized solar cells. Scanning electron microscopy images confirm successful deposition on MWCNT. Cyclic voltammetry, square wave voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy studies carried out to investigate inner mechanism charge transfer...
Through a modified sol gel route with titanium isopropoxide (TIP) and acetic acid, dioxide (TiO2) thin films were deposited by dip coating. Employing acid as modifier without inclusion of water in hydrolysis leaded to control the degree condensation-oligorimerization precursor formation anatase phase only upon annealing. Direct allowed energy band gap 3.87 eV verified film. Impact temperature on structural properties was deduced FTIR UV-Visible spectroscopies. Due reduction increase...
Corrosion inhibitors based on environmentally friendly and harmless products are currently being studied developed. The corrosion inhibition properties of caffeine (1,3,7-trimethylxanthine) copper in aqueous chloride solution (3.5 wt.% NaCl) analysed here using stationary transient electrochemical methods, a theoretical study density functional theory is carried out. Caffeine very competitive compared to the chemical that often used for protection. Electrochemical impedance experiments...
In this study, the phenolic composition, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of Zizyphus lotus Ruta chalepensis collected from Mascara-Western Algeria were investigated. The total phenolic, flavonoid tannin contents in methanolic (Me.E) aqueous (Aq.E) extracts measured using colorimetric methods. Polyphenolic profiles analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), while effect was determined DPPH* radical scavenging assays. activity estimated agar disc diffusion...
The chemical synthesis and characterization with spectroscopic electrochemical properties of [bis(4-fluorophenyl)-methoxy]-substituted metallo-phthalocyanines were reported for the first time. new phthalocyanines have been characterized by elemental analysis, UV-Vis, FT-IR, mass spectroscopies. aggregation behavior phthalocyanine compounds was investigated in different solvents concentrations. It is found that fluoro substituents peripherally Co Cu complexes are examined induce a shift to...
Abstract Here, photoelectrodes of photoelectrochemical (PEC) cells consisting azide functionalized reduced graphene oxide (GO‐N 3 ) and quaternary metal chalcogenide (CdZnNiSSe) composites sensitized with phthalocyanines (MPc, M: Co, Zn, Ti) are developed then tested in hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). CdZnNiSSe/RGO‐N composite is deposited on an indium tin (ITO) electrode through a facile electrodeposition technique ITO/CdZnNiSSe/RGO‐N photoelectrode constructed. Then, MPcs bearing...
This article presents the synthesis, electrophysical, and catalytic properties of a La0.9MnO3–LaFeO3 nanocomposite material. The was synthesized via sol–gel (Pechini) method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed polycrystalline, biphasic perovskite structure combining both hexagonal cubic symmetry. microstructure elemental composition, examined using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), indicated an average particle size approximately 186.9 nm. composite exhibits...
By cyclotetramerization of 3,4-bis(4-tert-butylphenyl)pyrroline-2,5-diimine in the presence magnesium butanolate, porphyrazinate with eight (4-tert-butylphenyl) units on periphery has been synthesized. Its demetalation by treatment trifluoroacetic acid resulted a partially oxidized product, namely, octakis(4-tert-butylphenyl)-2-seco-porphyrazine-2,3-dione. Further reaction this product copper(II) acetate, zinc(II) and cobalt(II) acetate led to metallo derivatives,...
In this study, we fabricate a metal- and vacuum-free electrode composed of aligned multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) as top in inverted type polymer solar cells. Simply drawn MWCNT sheets from vertically grown arrays were directly transferred over the layer (PEDOT:PSS) device an anode material. Without any post treatment, devices exhibited short-circuit current density (Jsc) 7.53 mA cm–2, which is 78% that employing thermally deposited silver-based (Jsc = 9.69 cm–2). Scanning electron...
Co(II) and Cu(II) complexes metal-free t-butylphenyl peripherally substituted porphyrazine (Pz) have been screened for in vitro antifungal (Aspergillus niger) antioxidant (free radical scavenging, superoxide reducing power) activities. The results were compared with synthetic antioxidants, e.g., butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), hydroxytoluene (BHT), trolox, or α-tocopherol. free scavenging activity of H2Pz was higher than the CuPz complex. However, complex showed BHA, BHT, trolox while CoPz...
