Melanoma, a highly aggressive skin cancer, is characterized by rapid progression and high mortality. Recent advances in molecular pathogenesis have shed light on genetic epigenetic changes that drive melanoma development. This review provides an overview of these developments, focusing mechanisms genesis. It highlights how mutations, particularly the BRAF, NRAS, c-KIT, GNAQ/GNA11 genes, affect critical signaling pathways. The evolution diagnostic techniques, such as genomics,...
Acne vulgaris is a common dermatological condition that can present across different ages but predominantly affects adolescents and young adults. Characterized by various lesion types, the pathogenesis of acne complex, involving genetic, hormonal, microbial, inflammatory factors. This review comprehensively addresses current emerging management strategies, emphasizing both topical systemic treatments, procedural therapies, dietary modifications. Key agents include retinoids, benzoyl...
Assembly reactions of mercury(II) halides (Cl, Br, and I) with two O2S2 macrocycles (L(1) L(2)) having different interdonor (S...S) distances were investigated, four types supramolecular complexes (1-4b) obtained depending on the S...S as well size halide anions. Photoluminescence these compounds was also studied.
Solvato-PL switching and shrinking-and-opening process: we present two CuI coordination polymers of calix[4]-bis-monothiacrown (L) obtained in the absence (1) presence (2) KI. The structures show not only very unusual CuI-based network arrangements but also unique reversible photolunimescence behavior induced by removal coordinated solvent. Furthermore, upon inclusion K+ ions crown ring shrinks leading to "opening" opposite aromatic rings host calixarene unit, rare for this class compound.
This study aims to describe the family socialization beliefs and practices of Korean immigrant parents through testing psychometric properties several newly developed items scales assess major components traditional concept socialization, ga-jung-kyo-yuk. These new measures were examined for validity reliability. The findings show that largely preserve their core parenting values, while also showing meaningful, yet not very dramatic, signs adopting cultural traits. results suggest...
Anion-controlled endo- and exocyclic complexes were afforded in the reactions of an S2O3 macrocycle with AgPF6 AgClO4, respectively. The two coordination modes that provide Ag ion position inside (by PF6−) or outside ClO4−) macrocyclic cavity are explained by anion-coordination ability toward metal cation. Furthermore, each center bridges ligands via a regular coordinative bond π coordination, forming cyclic dimeric-type product. NMR titrations complex system solution also carried out.
Abstract Background Uterine leiomyomatosis and psoriasis are prevalent conditions shared pathophysiological factors indicate a potential association. However, direct correlation has not been established. We investigated the relationship between uterine risk of new-onset in Korean females reproductive age. Methods This nationwide population-based study used data from National Health Insurance System database. Data 2,755,790 20–39 years age who underwent health check-ups 2009 to 2012 were...
Abstract Two S 2 O ‐macrocycles with different ring size ( L 1 : 17‐ and 18‐membered) were synthesised structurally characterised by X‐ray analysis. Reactions of silver(I) salts (ClO 4 – NO 3 ) afforded respective ligand‐ and/or anion‐directed complexes topologies; single‐stranded 1D coordination polymer [Ag )(DMSO)] n ), double‐stranded {[Ag (NO ] · DMSO} cyclic dimer CH Cl OH 2D polymeric sheet [Ag( )NO ). Meanwhile, reactions these two ligands copper(I) iodide 5 6a polymers linked a...
Supramolecular complex: We describe the synthesis and structural characterization of unsymmetrical calix[4]-bis-crown its heterodinuclear K+ Ag+ complex as a first case (see figure): both metal ions are stabilized not only by donor–metal dative bonds but also cation–π interactions, which can be visualized in terms chopsticks-type π-coordination process. Detailed facts importance to specialist readers published ”Supporting Information”. Such documents peer-reviewed, copy-edited or typeset....
Synthesis and structural behaviours of a pyridine-containing NO2S2-macrocycle L its soft metal complexes 1–4 with different types coordination modes topologies are presented. The reactions AgPF6 in ligand-to-metal ratios lead to the formation two solid topologies: an endocyclic 1 : (L M) complex 1a unprecedented 2 endo/exo-type 2. NMR titrations confirm that both silver(I) also retain solution. In HgCl2 Hg(ClO4)2, anion-controlled exo- were afforded, respectively. tendency adopt this...
One-pot assembly reactions of an S(2)O(4) macrocycle with CuI in the absence and presence KI afforded emissive one-dimensional looped coordination polymer linked a cubane-type copper iodide cluster endocoordinated potassium(I) ribbon-type cluster, respectively.
An O2S2-macrocycle L incorporating three aromatic subunits was synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray analysis. Four coordination polymers of with copper(I) halides (Cl, Br I) adopting different topologies network patterns depending on the anions are reported. Reactions chloride bromide yielded a single-stranded one-dimensional (1D) polymer [CuCl2(L)(CH3CN)]n (1) an oxidized copper(II) centre double-stranded 1D [(Cu2Br2)(L)2]·4CH2Cl2]n (2), each strand linked rhomboid-type...
Tribenzo-O2S2-macrocyclic isomers incorporating a xylyl group in the ortho (o-L), meta (m-L), and para (p-L) positions were employed to examine effect of ligand on supramolecular networking assembly with mercury(II) thiocyanate. o-L p-L afforded 1-D linear [Hg2(o-L)(SCN)4]n (1) zigzag [Hg(p-L)(SCN)2]n (3) coordination polymer networks, respectively, while m-L gave brick-wall type 2-D network [Hg2(m-L)(SCN)4]n (2). All three polymeric structures show different thiocyanate binding motifs.
A comparative investigation of the coordination behaviour regio-isomers (o-L and p-L) tribenzo-O2S2-macrocycle (L) is reported. On silver(I) complexation, macrocycle incorporating an o-xylyl group (o-L) yields a discrete endo/exocyclic tetranuclear bis(macrocycle) complex. other hand, corresponding p-xylyl analogue (p-L) gives 2D square-grid network via exocyclic coordination.
Two thiaoxa-macrocycles (L1: S3O2 and L2: S2O3) with a dibenzo-subunit were synthesised structurally characterised by X-ray analysis. Reactions of L1 L2 silver(I) salts (NO3− PF6−) afforded the respective ligand- and/or anion-directed complexes 1–3 different topologies; tetranuclear sandwich [Ag4(L1)2(NO3)4] (1), cyclic tetramer [Ag4(L1)4](PF6)4 (2) poly(bicyclic dimer) [Ag(L2)NO3]n (3). The formation such supramolecular is discussed in terms donor or anion effect.
