Abstract We report patho-morphological and virological characterization of SARS-CoV-2 in naturally infected, free ranging Indian Leopard ( Panthera pardus fusca ). Whole genome sequence analysis confirmed infection Delta variant SARS-CoV-2, possibly spill over from humans, but the case was detected when level had dropped significantly human population. This underlines need for intensive screening wild animals keeping track virus evolution development carrier status among wildlife species.
Wild-type adult mice with intact interferon (IFN) system were neither susceptible to bluetongue virus (BTV) infection nor showed signs of morbidity/mortality. Establishment immunologically competent wild-type mouse model type I IFNs blockade is necessary assess the pathogenesis, immune responses and testing BTV vaccines. Present study aimed establish characterize serotype 1 in immunocompetent at time by studying sequential pathology. Adult administered anti-mouse IFN-α/β receptor subunit-1...
Severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), a novel coronavirus initially reported in Wuhan, China, is the causative agent of disease (COVID-19) pandemic. Symptoms comprise fever, tiredness, dry cough, aches and pains, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, diarrhoea pneumonia at late stage. SARS-CoV-2 has severely crippled healthcare system caused huge economic losses. Following outbreak, was recognized timely its genome sequenced, leading to development real-time...
Background:Hyperlipidemia involves abnormally elevated lipid levels. Its management using statins, fibrates, bile acid sequestrants and niacin lead to various adverse effects. Lens culinaris (Fabaceae) is a dhal with high nutritional therapeutic value. Objective: To evaluate antihyperlipidemic activity of seeds in triton WR-1339 induced hyperlipidemic rats.Materials methods: Successive extracts, i.e., acetone (LCAE), methanol (LCME) aqueous (LCWE) were prepared from Medikus seeds. The...
Background: Principal component analysis (PCA) is a biometrical technique or dimensionality reduction method where large number of measurements could be replaced by fewer without significant loss information. PCA multivariate methodology and helps to eliminate redundant traits transforms original group variables into another known as principal components. It can used with success when characteristics are correlated. help in accurate selection superior animals. Methods: The present study was...
