A nonlinear Hamiltonian model is presented for which exact analytic results can be obtained. It shown that macroscopically distinguishable quantum states generated and detected by means of a homodyne detector. The vacuum fluctuations may inhibit their observability; however, this contribution subtracted.
Here it is shown that, for a wide class of nonlinear Hamiltonians, an essentially classical initial state will evolve into the coherent superposition distinguishable quantum states. The detection interference fringes can be performed by beating light leaving optical medium with from local oscillator. A model loss in apparatus introduced. squeezed-vacuum technique introduced finally as means enhancing displaying state.
The Wigner function for one- and two-mode quantum systems is explicitly expressed in terms of the marginal distribution generic linearly transformed quadratures. Then, density operator those also written these Some applications a reduction to usual optical homodyne tomography are considered.
We propose a quantum-nondemolition measurement of the amplitude quadrature and photon-number statistics by using effect radiation pressure on freely suspended mirror. to measure momentum fluctuations mirror which will give us readout fluctuations. The scheme we is able avoid back-action noise leaving state field after practically undegraded.
We describe the experimental test of a quantum key distribution performed with two-way protocol without using entanglement. An individual incoherent eavesdropping is simulated and induces variable amount noise on communication channel. This allows direct verification agreement between theory practice.
Purpose In fast urbanizing economies such as Sri Lanka, the construction industry tends to fragment into almost separate spheres of production with little or no reciprocal connection in training, know‐how and career development paths, consequent limitations internal knowledge dissemination technology transfer. This type industrial compartmentalization is detrimental social acquisition skills, restricts operational frameworks given technologies, especially low‐cost sectors. Against this...
We propose the use of a trapped electron to implement quantum logic operations. The fundamental controlled-NOT gate is shown be feasible. two bits are stored in internal and external (motional) degrees freedom.
A particular four-photon Hamiltonian is studied. The model exactly solved obtaining normal and higher-order squeezing.Received 13 November 1987DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevA.37.4778©1988 American Physical Society
This analysis shows how the increasing availability of computers in architectural practice and steady development electronic networks around world could encourage relocation professional structures into countries with lower production costs. Starting from existence sharp wage differentials between developed developing regions, it formulates hypothesis that, a few years, most work be documented places such as South-East Asia transferred digitally over to America, Australia or Europe.
Chapter 7 of the Pearce Report (2003) elaborates succinctly on role that technical progress should fulfil within a construction sector committed to sustainable generation social and economic value. Caught between technological macro-analysis policy-steering objectives, possibly overwhelmed by difficulty treating subject limited scope report time available, chapter offers few aggregate industrial data some commendable, albeit generic, recommendations about innovation. Yet, as part work...
Humanitarian tents provide emergency shelter for people displaced by conflict and disaster in diverse climatic conditions. This article compares the thermal performance of two standard humanitarian – Standard Family Tent (SFT) Geodesic (GFT). The SFT is most widely used shelter, while GFT was recently introduced as a potential replacement intended to provide, inter-alia, improved performance. study aims assess extent which this intention achieved and, doing so, improve understanding about...
We show how a single trapped electron offers the opportunity to realize universal quantum logic gates within present experimental possibilities. As an example, we propose implement Deutsch algorithm by using quantized cyclotron motion and spin as qubits.
Abstract Developments in information technology have reduced the need for spatial proximity geography of architectural employment: computer-based drafting allows better standardisation and more efficient production project information, whilst electronic communication links make immediate transfer this possible across long distances. The ability to compress time space may be paving way relocation facilities from higher-wage lower-wage regions: numerous examples already exist firms that...
Over time, the growing use of modern construction technologies with different tolerances and installation requirements for buildings has made reliance on full-size mock-ups essential addressing interfaces between design construction. Three-dimensional (3D) four-dimensional (4D) models have been introduced developed over past 10 years are seen by some as eliminating need physical mock-ups. However, notwithstanding recognized capabilities digital models, still needed capturing eliciting tacit...
Abstract We show how a single trapped electron offers the opportunity to realize universal three-qubit network within present experimental possibilities. This is achieved by encoding quantum information in energy states of cyclotron and spin motions. Furthermore we give prescriptions implement Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm, Grover algorithm Fourier transform.
