Research and development of human driving behaviors play an important role in the assistance systems. In this contribution, a prediction model is based on newly developed approach combining different Hidden Markov Models (HMM) cooperatively combined by Fuzzy Logic (FL). Due to variations individual drivers decision behavior task classify related individually trained models difficult. The FL will be used for additional distinction scenes into very safe, dangerous scenarios. For each scenario...
Research and development of predicting driving behaviors play an important role in the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for assisting drivers. In this contribution, approach is developed based on Hidden Markov Model (HMM) human behaviors. Three different maneuvers including left/right lane change keeping are modeled as hidden states HMM. Based observations (training), HMM able to calculate most possible using observed sequences. Furthermore, sequences also used training modeling...
Visualization of breast tumors with 3-D bioelectrical impedance spectroscopic tomography (3D-BIST) is proposed to identify the position, size, benignity, and malignancy tumors. First, visualize in 3-D, a conical sensor developed based on actual shape breast. Second, confirm feasibility method, finite element simulation employed. The influence different spectroscopy data acquisition methods (0-, 1-, 3-skip) classifiers [Linear-SVM, radial basis function-support vector machines (RBF-SVM),...
Provided are numerically predicted flow structural data for a passage with an impingement jet array, as well surface Nusselt number the target of passage, which obtained using SST k−ω turbulence closure model. The model and numerical prediction approach validated by oil film visualization experimental results. Spatially averaged represented cooling temperature ratio correlation equation Goodro et al., indicates that associated ratios decrease Tw/To,in increases to values high 2.0. Local,...
In this research, a new performance assessment based on the Probability of Detection (POD) reliability measure is developed integrating and discussing effect further parameters classification results therefore establishing connection between relevant process related classifier evaluation. To illustrate introduced approach, machine learning-based recognition complex driving situations for human drivers interpreted. This paper addresses the trajectory tracking control problem of a quadrotor with external disturbances. The main contributions are as follows: 1) A finite-time disturbance observer (FDO) is designed for accurate estimation disturbances and system uncertainties; 2) An integral sliding mode (ISM) law proposed to solve quadrotor; 3) By using FDO-based ISM scheme, errors can be stabilized zero in finite time. Simulation results show that method has remarkable performance.
Classifiers are functional tools/algorithms that implement classifications and widely used in science technology for state of health estimation, diagnosis systems, situation/intention recognition human operators. Certification these classifiers plays a crucial role their selection specific task. Current certification approaches utilize the Receiver Operator Curve (ROC) as standard tool provides graphically performance classifiers. Beside ratio Detection Rate False Alarm (combined ROC), other...

Main contributions are as follows: 1) A complex unknowns including unmodelled dynamics disturbances designed quadrotor, thereby contributing to more robustness pertaining closed-loop system; 2) The sliding backstepping technique then employed realize of leading proposed controller which achieves satisfactory performance; 3) Exhaustive analyses ensure...
Understanding and predicting of human driving behavior play an important role in the development Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for assisting drivers. In this contribution, a Multi-Layer (3-layer) Hidden Markov Models (HMM) approach is proposed developed behavior. For single HMM, more inputs will cause longer training time, higher complexity, even overfitting. The method can fit to complex situations, also when are considered. contribution first layer considered predict certain...
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are systems developed to assist the human driver and therefore make driving safer. Research development of intention recognition (behavior prediction) plays an important role in ADAS, because estimated can be used supervise drivers intended actions avoid dangerous situations. In this contribution, approach is based on fuzzy-Random Forest (fuzzy-RF) for recognizing intentions real time. Three different maneuvers including left/right lane change...
Classifiers are useful and well-known machine learning algorithms allowing classifications. A classifier may be suited for a specific task depending on the application datasets. To select an approach task, performance evaluation imperative. Existing approaches like receiver operating characteristic precision–recall curves popular in evaluating performance, however both measures do not directly address influence of additional possibly unknown (process) parameters classification results. In...
In this paper, fast and accurate trajectory tracking control of a quadrotor with complex unknowns including unmodeled dynamics, uncertainties unknown disturbances is addressed within proposed non-singular terminal sliding mode (NTSM) framework. Main contributions are as follows: 1) A nominal NTSM framework established to achieve exact quadrotor, whereby finite-time stability ensured by combining Lyapunov approach; 2) Within the scheme, disturbance observer further nested rapidly accurately...
