Polymorphism, a phenomenon whereby disparate self-assembled products can be formed from identical molecules, has incited interest in the field of supramolecular polymers. Conventionally, monomers that constitute polymers are engineered to facilitate one-dimensional aggregation and, consequently, their polymorphism surfaces primarily when states assembly differ significantly. This engenders polymorphs divergent dimensionalities such as one- and two-dimensional aggregates. Notwithstanding,...

Na4Fe3-xMnx(PO4)2(P2O7) is considered a promising candidate for commercial-scale applications due to its significantly improved energy density compared Na4Fe3(PO4)2(P2O7). However, challenges such as intractable impurities, voltage hysteresis/decay, and sluggish Na+ kinetics hinder their practical application. In this study, failure mechanisms of Na4Fe1.5Mn1.5(PO4)2(P2O7) are intensively investigated demystified. It found that the issues material mainly caused by surface element segregation,...

Abstract The complexation of alkyl‐substituted pillar[5]arenes with primary ammonium salts is investigated. 1,4‐Bis(methoxy)pillar[5]arene ( MeP5 ) can form strong complexes the in CDCl 3 . However, 1,4‐bis(ethoxy)pillar[5]arene EtP5 shows weak interaction these guests, and 1,4‐bis(butoxy)pillar[5]arene BuP5 not such a complex at all. These results indicate that modified alkyl chains pillar[5]arene play an important role selectivity.
