Abstract Purpose The purpose of this study was to assess the inter-reader agreement breast imaging reporting and data system (BI-RADS) contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) lexicon. Materials methods In IRB-approved, single-center, retrospective study, three radiologists, each with different levels experience, reviewed 462 lesions in 421 routine clinical CEM according fifth edition BI-RADS lexicon for first version CEM. Readers were blinded patient outcomes evaluated lesion features on...
Abstract Purpose Lesion conspicuity, the relative enhancement of a lesion compared to surrounding tissue, is new descriptor in ACR BI-RADS 2022 CEM supplement. We conspicuity contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) and MRI (CE-MRI) patients with suspicious breast lesions. Materials methods IRB-approved retrospective study; three blinded readers rated 462 indeterminate or lesions 388 (54.2 ± 11 years; range 30–90) who underwent CE-MRI from 2018 2022. Each lesion’s was scored 1 5, 5 indicating...
Objectives Contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) is an accurate competitor for contrast-enhanced breast magnetic resonance imaging (CE-MRI), but the examination limited by lack of 3D information. Digital tomosynthesis (DBT) allows better lesion detection and characterization compared with mammography. The availability quasi-3D contrast could further improve performance CEM. aim our analysis was to compare diagnostic a digital prototype (CE-DBTp) CEM CE-MRI. Materials Methods This prospective...
Paratesticular liposarcomas are uncommon malignancies, often misdiagnosed preoperatively, that present as a painless scrotal mass. There is no universal consensus on their management due to scarcity of reported cases. Early detection and prompt surgical intervention provide the best disease outcome. We case 74-year-old man with left testicular Ultrasound CT scan showed paratesticular tumour. He underwent high inguinal orchidectomy. Histopathological, immunohistochemical cytogenetics studies...
PFP with IgG-4 immunostaining is a rare paratesticular tumour. Pre-operative ultrasound scan and MRI usually confirm the benign nature of mass avoiding need for radical orchiectomy. The final diagnosis based on histology removed FDG PET plays an important role in ruling out systematic IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD). We describe case multiple fibrous pseudotumors IgG4 immunostaining, not associated systemic related disease.
Testicular sarcoidosis is a rare condition characterised by non-caseating granulomas located within the testicles. This case study reports 44-year-old man who presented initially in 2011 with testicular pain and bilateral was confirmed on scrotal US. In 2019 he erectile dysfunction. Scrotal ultrasound scan (US) showed that has not changed size nature when compared US 2011.
