Abstract. Climate warming in high latitudes impacts CO2 sequestration of the northern peatlands through changes production and decomposition processes. The response net fluxes between ecosystems atmosphere to climate change weather anomalies can vary across forest non-forest peatlands. To better understand differences dynamics at boreal induced by environmental conditions, estimates interannual variability ecosystem exchange (NEE), total respiration (TER), gross primary (GPP) was obtained...
Ecosystem carbon dioxide, energy, and water fluxes were measured using eddy covariance in a fresh clear-cut surrounded by mixed spruce-birch-aspen forest the boreal zone of European Russia. Measurements initiated spring 2016 following timber harvest continued for five months. The influence surrounding on air flow turbulent within examined process-based two-dimensional (2D) hydrodynamic exchange model. was source CO2 to atmosphere prior onset vegetation growth during early spring. During this...
Soil, tree stems, and ecosystem carbon dioxide fluxes were measured by chambers eddy covariance methods in a paludified shallow-peat spruce forest the southern taiga of European Russia (Tver region, 56° N 33° E) during growing seasons 2002–2012. The site was established 1998 as part EUROSIBERIAN CARBONFLUX project, an international field experiment examining atmosphere–biosphere interaction Siberia Russia. In all years observed annual cumulative net flux positive (the source to atmosphere)....
Abstract. Northern peatlands represent one of the largest carbon pools in biosphere, but they store is increasingly vulnerable to perturbations from climate and land-use change. Meteorological observations taken directly at peatland areas Siberia are unique rare, while characterized by a specific local climate. This paper presents hydrological meteorological dataset collected Mukhrino peatland, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, Russia, over period 8 May 2010 31 December 2019....
For the first time, information is summarized on history of establishment, state observations and main scientific results sites included in RuFlux, Russian eddy covariance network for monitoring greenhouse gases (GHG). Eddy technique provides estimates GHG fluxes at level ecosystems. The long-term series (more than 190 site-years observations) have been obtained. Up to end 2022, 86% RuFlux are located forests wetlands, 77% all middle southern taiga. Almost undisturbed ecosystems Russia sinks...
Abstract The paper presents the results of a study seasonal and interannual variability CO 2 concentration above moist tropical forest in southern Vietnam. Experimental data were collected during year-long observation directly from 2012 to 2017. All obtained through use an air intake tube, placed on metal tower at height 46 m connected Li-Cor 820 gas analyzer (Li-Cor Inc., USA) located building foot tower. values recorded with resolution 1 second; for further analysis, all was averaged 0.5 h...

Unique automated meteorological observations were carried out on the southern slope of Elbrus, near Pastukhov Rocks, at 4700 m a.s.l., during 2021–2022 accumulation season. Data obtained air temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, snowdrift radiation fluxes with a temporal resolution 1 minute or less. Analysis data series showed that representative winter temperature this altitude Elbrus is –10 °С, minimum –36.4 °С; partial pressure water vapor does not exceed 3.5 hPa. At same time,...
Abstract The paper presents the results of applying continuous wavelet analysis method to assess cyclic components discrete time series. work is based on an a long-term series data observations air temperature in south-west Valdai Upland, as well CO 2 concentration canopy tropical monsoon forest southern Vietnam. patterns coefficients and integral spectra have been studied for all considered Additionally, cyclicities contained were revealed.
Many studies report asymmetrical spatial distribution of soil respiration caused by presence areas with significantly higher emission rates (so-called hot spots). For seasonally dry tropical forest was measured on 1 ha plot 20m, 5m and m scale in the first half season. 457 measurements made 9 series at 54 sampling points. The results suggest that lognormal model appears to be much more supported rather than normal one. A statistical method proposed for estimation mean value its confidence...
