In this paper, a method of laser enhanced electrodeposition is used for preparation Fe-Ni alloy, which exhibits significant advantage in fabrication alloys. The effect energy on alloy by the manner reciprocating scanning studied. Results show that irradiation can improve surface morphology, micro-structure and mechanical properties alloy. results are useful development new to synthesize with better properties.
Intense interest has been given to the fabrication of micro-through-holes with smaller tapering and higher aspect ratios in engineering ceramics due their wide range applications MEMS aerospace. A semi-water-immersed laser micro-trepanning (SWILT) scheme is proposed investigated this paper alumina as target material, its performance assessed compared direct trepanning method. Relevant processing parameters influencing process are explored through an orthogonally designed experiment, effects...
Ni–W-based coating is one of the most promising materials to replace hexavalent chromium coating, and has excellent performance good application prospects in many fields. W Co are beneficial for corrosion resistance coating. In this paper, laser irradiation was introduced into electrodeposition system improve Ni–Co–W The effects different energy densities (0,19.1,31.8,44.6, 57.3 70 μJ mm−2) on surface quality, crystal phase, element content, mechanical properties were studied. results show...
Superhydrophobic surface with anisotropic wetting and no low‐surface‐energy modification is investigated in which laser ablation, ultrasonic cleaning degreasing solution, electrodeposition are used sequentially. The macrogrooves prepared by laser, the micro–nanoscale structures on electrodeposition, important to study effect of hierarchical wetting. Herein, morphology crystal structure discussed respect laser‐ablated subsequent solution super‐cleaning/electrodeposited surfaces. At same time,...
Laser electrochemical compound deposition (LECD), which introduces a high-energy laser beam into the process of deposition, has advantages higher rate and better machining quality. With multiple-field characteristic coupling LECD, multi-physics simulation software, COMSOL, was selected to perform simulations ascertain influence irradiation on deposition. Here, finite element model LECD established, electric with temperature flow field performed main forms mass transfer were studied. The...
Amorphous Ni-P alloys crystallize at high temperatures, which leads to the deterioration of resistivity and corrosion resistance. In this study, use laser irradiation with electrodeposition (ECD) process for preparing amorphous coatings was investigated; high-temperature crystallization, oxidation resistance, resistance were evaluated. The coating prepared by laser-assisted (LECD) maintained some structure 300 °C, while solely ECD had crystallized completely. With increasing ambient...
Abstract As a nontraditional processing technology, Electrochemical discharge machining (ECDM) can precisely process glass and engineering ceramics. This technology has proven to be potential for 3D microstructure. However, the key expanding application of ECDM is how improve accuracy. research conducted micro-hole microgroove machining. The influence power voltage frequency on hole efficiency, entrance diameter limit depth explored. We considered four factors affecting ECDM–the pulse...
To control the change of element content and improve surface quality, a steady-state magnetic field is introduced to prepare Fe-Ni coating based on laser-assisted electrodeposition (LECD). The internal structure, properties are tested discuss under different intensities. results indicate that comprehensive performance with transverse better. magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) magnetization effect make grain refinement quality coating. morphology shows laser makes denser, while causes ions magnetized...
The coating properties obtained in previous studies are time-sensitive. In actual service process, the surface may be contact with air for a long time. Therefore, this study discusses evolution of morphology and corrosion resistance air-exposed coatings prepared by laser-assisted electrodeposition (LECD) (ECD) (LECDed ECDed). results show that amorphous oxidized (20 days, 25 °C) formed micron structure, roughness (Sa) increased one order magnitude. structure LECDed was more uniform, size...
