Abstract Aim We wanted to examine survival in patients with resected colorectal cancer (CRC) whose lung metastases are or not resected. Methods Teams participating the study of Pulmonary Metastasectomy Colorectal Cancer (PulMiCC) identified potential candidates for metastasectomy and invited their consent join Stage 1. Baseline data related CRC fitness surgery were collected. Eligible randomization PulMiCC randomized controlled trial (Stage 2). Sites provided case report forms non‐randomized...

Post-operative quality of life (QOL) has become crucial in choosing operative approaches thoracic surgery. However, compared to VATS and thoracotomy, QOL results post-RATS are limited. We before after RATS between RATS, VATS, thoracotomy. conducted a retrospective review lung cancer surgical patients from 2015 2020. A 70-year-old woman presented with a 2-year history of increasing breathlessness. Computed tomography (CT) the chest confirmed well-defined cystic lesion abutting mediastinum in right hemi thorax measuring 8 × 6 cm. She underwent thoracotomy to excise lesion.
