Lithium cobalt oxide, LiCoO 2 , widely used as cathode in lithium ion batteries was synthesized and their structural electronic properties investigated. The crystalline powders were prepared by the sol-gel method with four complexing agents: citric acid, glycine, starch gelatin. These syntheses compared blank test (without agent). The X-ray diffraction vibrational spectroscopy allowed identification of rhombohedral phase ( ) only or principal component all samples.A small fraction a second...

Abstract The SiO 2 /TiO /Nb O 5 material was set by the sol–gel method and characterized several techniques through thermogravimetric, spectroscopic, textural analyzes. For two synthesized materials, specific surface area 350.0 494.0 m g −1 (SiTiNb-A SiTiNb-B, respectively). An enhance of crystalline order with temperature increase thermal treatment observed. Through X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy analysis, binding energy values for Ti 2p Nb 3d levels showed insertion atoms in silica...

This paper describes a simple procedure to synthesize materials with NASICON-like structures, using starch as mild combustion fuel. The results of ICP-MS, x-ray and Raman spectroscopy present that the samples can be classified solid solution isostructural Li2Co2(MoO4)3. analysis by diffraction shows increase on amount promotes crystallinity, leading peaks more intense better defined. Moreover, we infer increases substantially material capacity (5 mAhg-1 52 mAhg-1), well leads definition redox

Background: Currently, solution combustion synthesis (SCS) is considered a reproducible, flexible, and low-cost method for the preparation of nanomaterials. A new trend in SCS use less polluting fuels, such as starch. The starch fuel very interesting green chemistry, it renewable has several advantages, including its abundance, low-cost, non-toxicity. Objective: This paper provides comprehensive review using fuel. main advantages will be illustrated with wide variety examples, highlighting...
