In this paper, we develop a novel constrained adaptive filtering algorithm called recursive least p-power (CRLP) algorithm, which incorporates set of linear constraints into the mean error (LMP) criterion to solve optimization problem directly. Compared with conventional algorithms including square (CLMS), (CRLS) and (CLMP), CRLP can achieve better performance under non- Gaussian noises. In order to study the dynamic Hoek-Brown strength criterion related size effect, impact experiments were carried out on sandstone samples using SHPB loading system with confining pressure.
