This paper describes the testing of titanium dioxide, chemically modified by arsenate groups, as an adsorbent 90Sr from component aquatic ecosystems Chornobyl exclusion zone. It is shown, that chemical composition environment impacts adsorption. The 4As-TiO2 reduces activity some samples almost 100 %, which indicates selectivity and high adsorption capacity in relation to 90Sr. In experiments, this value reached was reduced level maximum permissible concentration.
