Abstract The paper presents results of a research study into levels selected surface water components in Siedlce, Poland. Water was sampled the Muchawka Reservoir and River March, July November 2012. Two techniques were applied study: isotachophoresis atomic absorption spectrometry. analysis indicate that they are borderline compliant with standards for Class 1 waters. This work presents a step-by-step study of new methodology for capillary isotachophoretic determination (which is one the green chemistry techniques) mercury in aquatic environments.
