This paper is an attempt at providing a fuzzy set formalization of case-based reasoning and decision.Learning aspects are not considered here. The proposed approach assumes principle stating that ''the more similar the problem description attributes, outcome attributes.''A weaker form this concluding only on graded possibility similarity also considered. These two forms modelled in terms rules. Then approximate machinery taking advantage enables us to apply information stored memory previous...
Auction-based electronic commerce is an increasingly interesting domain for developing trading agents. In this paper we present our first contributions towards the construction of such agents by introducing both a formal and more pragmatical approach design bidding strategies that provide buyer with useful heuristic guidelines to participate in auction-based tournaments. On one hand, view relies on possibilistic-based decision theory as means handling possibilistic uncertainty consequences...

Within the many-valued approach for approximate reasoning, aim of this paper is two-fold. First, to extend truth-values lattices cope with imprecision due possible incompleteness available information. This done by considering two bilattices truth-value intervals corresponding so-called weak and strong truth orderings. Based on use interval bilattices, second introduce what we call partial logics. The (partial) models such logics may assign formulas, so they stand representations incomplete...
In this paper, we argue that open agent organisations can be effectively designed and implemented as institutionalised electronic (electronic institutions) composed of a vast number heterogeneous (human software) agents playing different roles interacting by means illocutions. present the principal components define an institution.
We present an improvement of the similarity-logic interpretation generalized modus ponens rule. The main feature this new is its ability to distinguish between bodies evidence corresponding antecedent and conditional distributions. Furthermore, we show that characterization consistent with variable-oriented, fuzzy-logic concept ponens.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
