This paper describes a new method for contouring signed grid whose edges are tagged by Hermite data (i.e; exact intersection points and normals). avoids the need to explicitly identify process "features" as required in previous methods. Using new, numerically stable representation quadratic error functions, we develop an octree-based simplifying contours produced this method. Constructing a function that interpolates set of values defined at vertices mesh is fundamental operation in computer graphics. Such an interpolant has many uses applications such as shading, parameterization and deformation. For closed polygons, mean value coordinates have been proven to be excellent method for constructing interpolant. In this paper, we generalize from 2D polygons triangular meshes. Subpopulations of tumor cells exhibited signatures proliferation, KRAS signaling, cell stress epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition. We present a robust method for repairing arbitrary polygon models. The is guaranteed to produce closed surface that partitions the space into disjoint internal and external volumes. Given any model represented as soup, we construct an inside/outside volume using octree grid, reconstruct by contouring. Our novel algorithm can efficiently process large models containing millions of polygons capable reproducing sharp features in original geometry.

Abstract Building surfaces from cross‐section curves has wide applications including bio‐medical modeling. Previous work in this area mostly focused on connecting simple closed parallel cross‐sections. Here we consider the more general problem where input data may lie non‐parallel cross‐sections and consist of curve networks that represent segmentation underlying object by different material or tissue types (e.g., skin, muscle, bone, etc.) each cross‐section. The desired output is a surface...

While existing methods often involve non-trivial heuristics and require additional constraints, such as normals or labelled points, we introduce direct definition of the function points solution to constrained quadratic optimization problem.
