The pathophysiology of slow coronary flow (SCF) involves atherosclerosis, small vessel dysfunction, platelet function disorders, and inflammation. It has been known that eosinophils also play a significant role in inflammation, vasoconstriction, thrombosis, endothelial dysfunction. We propose to evaluate the relationship between eosinophilia SCF.All patients who underwent angiography January 2011 December 2013 were screened retrospectively. Of 6,832 patients, 102 with SCF (66 males, mean age...

Pulmonary embolus and right atrial thrombus trapped in a patent foramen ovale is an unusual, rare condition. We report case of impending paradoxical embolism with pulmonary embolism, which entrapped was detected. To our knowledge, this the first literature 'thrombus-in-transit' detected atrium both before after entrapment ovale.

Dual-chamber pacing is believed to have an advantage over single-chamber ventricular pacing. The aim of this study was determine whether elderly patients who implanted pacemakers for complete atrioventricular block gain significant benefits from dual-chamber (DDD) compared with single chamber (VVIR) pacemakers. This designed as a randomized, two-period crossover study-each mode maintained 1 month. Thirty (16 men, mean age 68.87 ± 6.89 years) DDD were submitted standard protocol, which...

The incidence of patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) is greater among patients living at high altitude. In this po-pulation, the ductal diameter often larger and pulmonary hypertension more frequent. aim study was to evaluate hemodynamic morphological features PDA transcatheter closure procedures performed with various devices in a group altitude Turkey. The data 327 who lived an least 1600 m above sea level had undergone cardiac catheterization for isolated between May 2010 July 2018 were...

Objective The prognostic nutritional index (PNI) is a practical, applicable, scoring system. However, its clinical significance in unprotected left main coronary artery (ULMCA) patients undergoing percutaneous intervention (PCI) has not yet been clarified. This study aimed to examine the relationship between malnutrition as assessed by PNI and major adverse cardiac events (MACE) ULMCA PCI.Material methods 185 who were hospitalized our clinic underwent angiography, had critical LMCA lesion,...

We report the results of endovascular treatment Trans-Atlantic Inter-Society Consensus II (TASC) A&B, TASC C, and D aortoiliac lesions in a single vascular center. In this retrospective, observational cohort study, we analyzed 395 patients (mean age 61.2 ± 9.0; 359 men) between January 2015 December 2017. Technical success was achieved 96.5%; in-hospital mortality 1.2% (n = 5). Median follow-up 36 months (range 24-49 months). After 1 5 years, primary patency rates were 99% 85% for 90%,...

Although stents reduce the restenosis rate, stent continues to be a major problem and optimal treatment of is still controversial. In this study, we aimed investigate angiographic recurrent rate at 6-12 months after successful cutting balloon angioplasty (CBA) for bare metal restenosis.Thirty patients (mean age: 57.9 ± 11.6, 22 males) undergoing CBA in-stent our hospital were prospectively included in study. Control coronary angiography was performed CBA. Lesion length, minimal lumen...
