A substrate integrated waveguide with square complementary split-ring resonators (CSRRs) etched on the surface is investigated in this paper. The proposed structures allow implementation of a forward-wave passband propagating below characteristic cutoff frequency waveguide. By changing orientations CSRRs, which are incorporated and can be interpreted terms electric dipoles, varied characteristics observed. detailed explanation for generation variations passbands has been illuminated....
Abstract A series of polyoxometalates (POMs) that incorporate the highest‐nuclearity Ln clusters have been observed in such structures to date (Ln 26 , Ln=La and Ce) are described, which exhibit giant multishell configurations (Ln⊂W 6 ⊂Ln ⊂W 100 ). Their remarkably different from known POMs feature multiple ions. In particular, incorporated Ln–O with a nuclearity significantly larger than high‐nuclearity (≤10) POM chemistry. Furthermore, they also contain largest number La Ce centers for any...

Extraordinarily high quantum efficiency and abnormal negative thermal quenching were simultaneously achieved in oxide phosphors Ca 7 Mg 2 Ga 6− y Al O 18 :Mn 4+ by structurally confining Mn -emitters at isolated octahedral sites.
A comparative investigation of broadband near-infrared luminescence from two different occupation sites in Rb 2 LiAlF 6 :Cr 3+ with high efficiency and excellent thermal stability.
A hybrid resonant circuit is proposed in this paper. The a combination of shunt and series circuit. With combination, lower frequency achieved as compared to the single circuits. As result, compact resonator with smaller size can be conventional quarter- half-wave resonators. Besides reduction, able introduce transmission zero improve stopband suppression filter design. Based on circuit, very interdigital coupled microstrip achieves small length nearly 1/10 guided wavelength (¿ <i...
The fluorine atoms in BiB2O4F withdraw the non-bonding electrons of Bi3+and thus strongly increase SHG efficiency.
Conjugated polymer (CP) aggregates with linear/cross-linked structures are widely reported as photocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction. For full disclosure of the relationship between photocatalytic performance and structural features CP photocatalysts, homogeneous dispersion these CPs in aqueous medium is necessary, which however difficult to be achieved. Herein, we report several coassembled polymeric dots (Pdots) consisting PEG45-b-PMMA103 various features. We found that Pdots...
A framework of AlO6 octahedra is present in the microporous aluminoborate HAl3B6O12(OH)4 (PKU-1; see picture), which was synthesized from AlCl3 a boric acid flux. The share two or three edges with neighboring to form 18-ring tunnels along [001] and 10-ring {100}. borate groups vertices octahedra, compensating negative charge octahedral almost completely blocking channels. Needle-like ZnO nanorods (ZnO–NRs)/Ag nanoparticles (Ag–NPs) heterostructures with tunable silver contents have been successfully designed and constructed via a two-step hydrothermal approach on zinc foil. The as-fabricated heteroarchitectured composite was Ag–NPs size range about 30 to 50 nm in diameter assembled uniformly the surface of needle-like ZnO–NRs, several micrometers long 480 wide near half height nanorods. Through variation reactant concentration such as nitrate, content ZnO–NRs...
Channel zapping: PKU-1 and newly synthesized PKU-2 (Al2B5O9(OH)3⋅n H2O; see picture) possess microporous structures with 18-ring 24-ring channels, respectively. They show high reactivity size selectivity in the cyanosilylation of aldehydes as heterogeneous Lewis acid catalysts. The different channel sizes determine substrate selectivity. These examples demonstrate potential octahedron-based aluminoborate channels catalysis. Detailed facts importance to specialist readers are published...
The development of new routes for the production thermoelectric materials with low-cost and high-performance characteristics has been one long-term strategies saving harvesting thermal energy. Herein, we report a approach improving properties by employing intrinsically low conductivity quasi-one-dimensional (quasi-1D) crystal structure optimizing power factor aliovalent ion doping. As an example, demonstrated that SbCrSe3, in which two parallel chains CrSe6 octahedra are linked antimony...
Abstract We propose several superiorities of applying some particular metal sulfides to the photocatalytic nitrate reduction in aqueous solution, including high density photogenerated excitons, N 2 selectivity (without over-reduction ammonia). Indeed, ZnCr S 4 behaved as a highly efficient photocatalyst and with assistance 1 wt% cocatalysts (RuO x , Ag, Au, Pd, or Pt), efficiency was greatly improved. The simultaneous loading Pt Pd led synergistic effect. It offered highest conversion rate...
Oil reservoir production systems are usually associated with a temperature gradient and oil facilities frequently suffer from pipeline corrosion failures. Both bacteria archaea potentially contribute to biocorrosion of the equipment. Here response microbial populations petroleum carbon steel coupons were investigated under laboratory condition. Carbon exposed water depth 1809 m Jiangsu (China) incubated for periods 160 300 days. The incubation temperatures set at 37, 55, 65°C monitoring...
Low–cost biosorbents (ginkgo leaf, osmanthus banyan magnolia holly walnut shell, and grapefruit peel) were evaluated in the simultaneous removal of La3+, Ce3+, Pr3+, Nd3+, Sm3+, Eu3+, Gd3+, Yb3+, Lu3+, UO22+, Th4+, Y3+, Co2+, Zn2+, Ni2+, Sr2+ from aqueous solutions. In single metal systems, all adsorbents exhibited good to excellent adsorption capacities toward lanthanides actinides. a simulated multicomponent mixed solution study, higher selectivity efficiency observed for Th4+ over other...
