Abstract In this study, the activity concentration of artificial and natural radionuclides such as 137 Cs, 40 K, 226 Ra, 232 Th was measured in soil under roots; leaves; fruits six different fruit trees namely mulberry, fig, apricot, olive, black white grapes Koya district, Erbil province, Iraq. For purpose, a high-resolution gamma spectroscopy consisting high-purity germanium (HPGe) detector used. addition, associated radiological risks from were assessed by calculating several indices...
The present study is to compare the radon activity concentration in agricultural and virgin soils from various locations along Little Zab River (LZR) Iraqi Kurdistan region. We conducted 24 measurements of soil samples using long tube techniques equipped with an electric detector called RAD7 our research. findings revealed that concentrations ranged 37.3 ± 7.52 Bq m-3 298.25 50.09 soil, 33.03 10.85 320.25 34.62 Bq.m-3 agriculture soil. annual effective dose was also calculated be 0.94 0.19...
This study investigates the activity concentration of natural radionuclides in a diverse range food samples Koya district markets baskets, including both domestic and imported products. The cover annual crops (e.g. coffee, tea, kidney beans), tree nuts almonds, pistachios), other items beef, fish, milk) by using high-purity germanium (HPGe) detector. research addresses notable gap providing baseline data on radionuclide concentrations assessing potential health risks. Average for ²²⁶Ra,...
Introduction: Radon is a radioactive gas released from the normaldecay of uranium in rocks and soil depending on local geology. Radioactive decay through radium produces radon. Materials Methods: In present work, seventeen plant (vegetables) samples collected Sulaimania Governorate. The plants have been analyzed examined to measure level radon (222Rn) thoron (220Rn) using plastic track detector (CR-39) for evaluation concentration this region. Results Discussion: results indicated that...
An Integrated Autoregressive Moving Average (ARIMA) - Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) is proposed to analyze and model the anomalies of atmospheric ground gases by an earthquake along North Anatolian Fault Zone (Türkiye). Earthquakes, Soil radon gas Total Electron Content (TEC) showed simultaneous anomalies. There are positive relationships between these three parameters. Also, relations Rn, meteorology, atmosphere detected. The ARIMA MCS for Rn-TEC-Earthquake measured data gave statistically...
This paper studies a number of reasons that effect on the overall output electrical energy solar cell, to find best angle at morning, noon and afternoon times in installing cell system Koya..The study was conducted for three (3) months Koya City-Kurdistan region Iraq 2014.It found Azimuth is between (330 o -340 ) whereas incident angles are 27 mornings, 60 25 afternoons City. Moreover, power were produced from affected by weather, temperature, raining as well.

Mass attenuation coefficient of various soil samples (density ranges between 2.22 and 2.3gcm -3 ) collected from three sites distributed in Kurdistan Region Iraq land have been determined for gamma energy 0.662MeV using spectrometry. The average mass coefficients the studied were found to be 0.0487, 0.0492 0.0493cm 2 g -1 .The results shown that Fe content has a strong effect on coefficient. In general, this study can used determination emitters any samples.
Abstract An Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA)-Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) is proposed to analyze and model anomalies caused by earthquakes in the atmosphere ground gases along North Anatolian Fault Zone (NAFZ)-Turkiye. Earthquakes, Soil Radon Gas Total Electron Content (TEC) show simultaneously. Positive correlations are observed among these three variables. Similarly, positive also Rn-Meteorological-Atmospheric triple The ARIMA MCS for Rn-TEC-Earthquake relations of measured...
Abstract A spatial simulation method in .mp4 format was proposed to determine Fukushima radioactive fallout transport and the Absorbed Dose Rate, Annual Effective Equivalent, Excess Lifetime Cancer Risk were determined for 10 months after accident (March 11 2011). The findings of this study demonstrate that an appropriate ARIMA model can be applied radiation dose time-series case nuclear reactor accidents like Chernobyl predict future air rates, which provide valuable information determining...
Abstract Earthquake events are usually associated with the atmospheric processes modification. Some of important in seismic periods include electricity/conductivity modification, which is often related to ion population earthquake preparation area vicinity. Radon, together cosmic radiation major ionization sources lower troposphere. The ion-pair production rate estimated as caused by radon Erzincan, a city along North Anatolian Fault Zone, Turkey. Long short term memory and Monte Carlo...
