In the current work, rice straw nanofibers (RSNF) with width of elementary fibrils (~ 4-5 nm) were isolated from straw. The used zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONPs) to prepare flexible nanopaper films. Tensile strength and electrical properties prepared RSNF/ZnONPs investigated. addition ZnONPs RSNF did not deteriorate its mechanical showed a slight improvement in tensile Young's modulus about 14% 10%, respectively, upon 5% ZnONPs. Microscopy investigation using scanning electron microscopy...

Nanoparticles (NPs) of magnetite (M) and zinc ferrites (Zn0.5M ZnM) with different concentrations were synthesized through a co-precipitation method coated chitosan containing ciprofloxacin antibiotic to enhance the cells compatibility these nanosystems. The prepared magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs), chitosan/MNPs ciprofloxacin/chitosan/MNPs characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmittance electron microscopy (TEM), scanning (SEM) accessorized energy dispersive X-rays (EDAX),...

Abstract This study explored the remediation of polluted synthetic and real wastewaters by titanium oxyhydroxide/titanium phosphate (TTP) TTP/active carbon (TTPC) composites. TTP materials were synthesized in mild conditions hydrolyzing TiCl 4 a basic medium followed reaction with phosphoric acid. Analyses revealed that is nano-sized low crystalline material (average diameter ~ 6 nm) composed 38.38% TiO(OH) 2 59.89% phosphate. The maximal removal capacities achieved highly waters. They...

ABSTRACTZeolite-bacterial cellulose nanocomposite membrane (ZBCN) has been prepared and evaluated as a catalyst in the transesterification of waste cooking oil (WCO) to give biodiesel. Bacterial was obtained during cultivation Komagataeibacter bacterial isolate; meanwhile, zeolite A (ZA) from Egyptian ores. The results confirmed that, amount triglyceride (TG) converted into fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) ≥77%, while total conversion TG other compounds were 84.4% 7.4%, respectively, 9 h...
