A method of determining the position readout sectors a time projection chamber using experimental data is proposed. Considering results modeling response sensitive elements multipurpose detector, three types tracks were reconstructed: cosmic muons, beams laser detector system, and muons from interaction nuclei. Employing experiment simulation proposed finding orientation chamber, accuracy alignment investigated. For rays, approximately same. It about 750 microns for shift origin sector 7 arc...

The results of the model analysis hadron femtoscopic correlations and factorial moments particle multiplicity in heavy ion collisions for energy range Beam Energy Scan (BES) program at RHIC future NICA collider are presented. For this purpose, simulation Au+Au center-of-mass energies 7.7 11.5 GeV per nucleon pair using UrQMD, vHLLE+UrQMD (with crossover first-order equation states), HYDJET++ event generators was performed. sensitivity pion kaon correlation radii dependence on beam to...

This paper studies a method of two dimensional background calculation for an analysis events with particles the same type registered in experiments high-energy physics. The standard two-dimensional integration is replaced by approximation specially constructed one-dimensional function. number signal found subtraction events. It allows calculating purity selection. procedure does not require hypothesis about and shapes. Monte Carlo examples double J/psi samples are used to demonstrate high...

We present a study of the polarization γ(1S) and γ(2S) using sample 1.3 fb-1 data collected by DO experiment in 2002–2006 during Run II Fermilab Tevatron. The parameter α = (σT − 2σT)/(σT + 2σT) where σT σL are transverse longitudinal polarized components cross section is measured as function momentum (pT) for γ(2S). Significant that dependent on pT observed inconsistent with QCD predictions. No contradictions to NRQCD predictions observed.
