We report electric field control of the interfacial Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) in MgO/Fe/Pt multilayers. The DMI is obtained and quantified by Brillouin light scattering measurements based on frequency nonreciprocity spin waves a ferromagnet. magnitude induced found to linearly increase as function intensity. efficiency characterized ratio energy change field, which be equal 67 fJ/(Vm) with positive field. further demonstrate that origin enhanced results from MgO/Fe interface....
The Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) is a very interesting phenomenon for creating devices to exploit spin chirality, but enhancing DMI in artificial structures still challenging. This comprehensive investigation presents several possible approaches manipulating interfacial magnetic multilayers. These results are expected facilitate the engineering of large spintronic applications.
We reported microwave measurements on a nanoscale MgO-based magnetic tunnel junction having an elliptical shape with large aspect ratios to obtain enough in-plane anisotropy ensure free layer magnetization along the long axis. Combined of synthetic antiferromagnet pinned short axis, this results in perpendicular configuration between magnetizations and layers. A steady high frequency oscillation up 5 GHz was achieved such devices at zero field. Meanwhile, tunability 0.11 Hz·cm2/mA (2.67...
Active magnetic bearing (AMB) is a crucial technology for high-speed rotational machines. The switching power amplifier the vital actuator that drives AMB to generate electromagnetic levitation force. With use of new generation wide-band SiC devices, there are opportunities enhance dynamic performance amplifiers by significantly increasing frequency compared conventional Si-based ones. However, high voltage slew rate <italic xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"...
Abstract Elastic deformation behavior and microstructure evolution of single crystal nickel nanowire in tensile test have been investigated using molecular dynamics simulations. When the temperature is above 300 K, inhomogeneous elastic stage. It can generate a kind (body‐centered cubic)‐like structure within material to guide deformation, rather than uniform all atoms. The will transform be body‐centered cubic gradually with increasing strain revert face‐centered when twin appears....
