Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore critical factors for implementing green supply chain management (GSCM) practice in the Taiwanese electrical and electronics industries relative European Union directives. Design/methodology/approach A tentative list GSCM was developed based on a thorough detailed analysis pertinent literature. survey questionnaire contained 25 items, literature interviews with three industry experts, specifically quality product assurance representatives. total...

At the Advanced Light Source an undulator beamline, with energy range from 6 to 30 eV, has been constructed for chemical dynamics experiments. The higher harmonics of are suppressed by a novel, windowless gas filter. In one branchline high-flux, 2% bandwidth radiation is directed toward end station photodissociation and crossed molecular-beam A photon flux 1016 photon/s measured at this station. second 6.65 m off-plane Eagle monochromator delivers narrow photoionoization studies. peak 3×1011...

Abstract Methane seepage from the upper continental slopes of Western Svalbard has previously been attributed to gas hydrate dissociation induced by anthropogenic warming ambient bottom waters. Here we show that sediment cores drilled off Prins Karls Foreland contain freshwater dissociating hydrates. However, our modeling indicates observed pore water freshening began around 8 ka BP when rate isostatic uplift outpaced eustatic sea-level rise. The resultant local shallowing and lowering...

This paper utilized fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) to explore the differences of green supplier selection among American, Japanese and Taiwanese electronics industry in China. In this study, identification criteria is categorized into six 24 sub-criteria, a multi-criteria decision model proposed. FAHP then applied determine relative importance for selecting suppliers Electronics Industry The findings indicate that supply chain base criterion performs best overall ranking from three...

Abstract Mass changes of ice sheets, glaciers and caps, land water hydrology, atmosphere, ocean cause a nonuniform sea level rise due to the self‐attraction loading effects called fingerprints (SLF). SLF have been previously derived from combination modeled observed mass fluxes continents into ocean. Here we derive improved time series variable gravity data Gravity Recovery Climate Experiment (GRACE) mission for April 2002 October 2014. We evaluate GRACE‐derived using bottom pressure (OBP)...

Enterprises have now realised that in order to increase the competitiveness, they not only need improve efficiencies within enterprise, but also performance of entire supply chain. Because increasingly stringent environmental regulations, enterprises are interested establishing green chains. The objective this paper is demonstrate impact data sharing a key success factor developing tool set IDEF (Integration Definition) applied describe overall flow data-sharing process. This study presents a model for evaluating the carbon and energy management performance of suppliers by using multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM). By conducting literature review gathering expert opinions, 10 criteria on were identified to evaluate low Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM). Subsequently, trial evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) method was used determine importance in selecting causal relationships between them. Resilience curves have been widely used for conceptualizing and representing specific aspects of resilience behavior during hazard events; however, their use has often remained conceptual with limited data-driven characterization empirical grounding. While broader community encompasses multiple social, economic, infrastructure dimensions, targeted analyses systems can provide valuable insights into patterns. Empirical characterizations essential regarding the manner in which differently...
