Point-of-care (POC) diagnostic platforms are globally employed in modern smart technologies to detect events or changes the analyte concentration and provide qualitative quantitative information biosensing. Surface plasmon-coupled emission (SPCE) technology has emerged as an effective POC tool for developing robust biosensing frameworks. The simplicity, robustness relevance of attracted researchers physical, chemical biological milieu on account its unique attributes such high specificity,...

The essential removal of sericin from raw silk during degumming using hot alkali solution results in disposal 25% proteins and large amounts effluents. protein (sericin) disposed with the effluent has unique properties suitable for medical, cosmetic many other applications. Despite its distinct high value, (1–2%) liquor is not recovered usually discarded as a waste mainly due to economically technical challenges recovery. In this research, we have designed new green sustainable...

Both animal and plant proteins are preferred for biomedical applications due their biocompatibility ability to be converted into different shapes sizes. In addition, have various functional groups that provide the carry biological entities required diagnostics treatments. The in silk, namely, fibroin sericin been used medical centuries. Silk obtained from cocoons silkworms (pupae) discarded as waste. weight of pupae generated is roughly equivalent empty cocoons. Although contain 30 40%...

In this research, proteins were obtained from Pongamia pinnata oil meal and subsequently converted into films compression molded various packaging products. Films with a maximum tensile strength of 1.9 MPa when 15% citric acid was used as the crosslinker. Minimum swelling 120% seen in 20% crosslinked film whereas uncrosslinked readily disintegrated water. The protein had excellent antioxidant properties an IC 50 value 14.6 µg/ml compared to 26.9 for standard ascorbic acid. pongamia...
