Significance By performing a targeted genetic screen of temperature-sensitive mutations, this study identified 94 essential Saccharomyces cerevisiae genome instability suppressing (eGIS) genes and 38 candidate eGIS genes. Analysis The Cancer Genome Atlas data demonstrated that mutations in the human homologues S. were significantly enriched 10 different cancers. These results provide insights into origin cancers tools for identifying evaluating contribute to development cancer.
Abstract Background The purpose of this study was to evaluate the shape crystalline lens in terms biometry and diopters before after cycloplegia using CASIA2 swept-source (SS) optical coherence tomography (OCT) system on anterior segment. Methods This a retrospective study. Children adolescents (26 males 29 females, aged 4–21 years) with simple ametropia were selected for optometry imaging at 2 separate visits cycloplegia. Diopter values derived from spherical power (S) obtained by...

In this work, the calculation of Casimir forces across thin DNA films is carried out based on Lifshitz theory. The variations due to thicknesses, volume fractions containing water, covering media and substrates are investigated. For a film suspended in air or force attractive, its magnitude increases with decreasing thickness water fraction. deposited dielectric(silica) substrate, attractive for environment. However, shows unusual features Under specific conditions, switching signs from...

Travelling wave rate equations have been used to study the optical bistability of two- segment laser diodes. Closed form solutions for photon flux inside cavity deduced and some aspects bistable lasers discussed.
The spectral content of the reflected light from a grating, positioned at distance much longer than diode length to form an external-cavity semiconductor laser, has been studied. analytical expressions derived show that coupling coefficient antireflection (AR)-coated facet facing extended cavity can be divided into two factors, which one is due off-overlapping between centers mode and its counterpart, other alteration wave vector after being dispersed by grating.< <ETX...
