High faradaic efficiencies and current densities for the electrochemical reduction of to both are reported at in situ deposited copper on glassy carbon electrodes aqueous . At 8.3 mA/cm2 cumulative yield can be essentially faradaic. 25 overall efficiency these two products was 79%. The proposed mechanism does not appear involve direct , but proceeds through reaction weakly adsorbed with electrochemically generated chemisorbed hydrogen surface. Subsequent this reduced species probably leads...

Electrochemical reduction of under ambient conditions to methanol, ethanol, and n‐propanol is reported at perovskite‐type electrocatalysts when incorporated into gas diffusion electrodes. In the absence copper perovskite B lattice site, no activity was found. This investigation resulted in identification electrochemical whereby could achieve cumulative Faradaic efficiencies for up ≅40% current densities 180 mA/cm2.

Carboxylate−alumoxanes, [Al(O)x(OH)y(O2CR)z]n, have been uniformly doped with a transition metal or lanthanide. Thermolysis of the alumoxanes yields homogeneous mixed-metal oxides. The carboxylate−alumoxanes were synthesized by reaction boehmite, [Al(O)(OH)]n, either hexanoic, octanoic, methacrylic, [(methoxyethoxy)ethoxy]acetic acids. Reaction carboxylate alumoxane acetylacetonate complex, M(acac)3 (M = Mn, La, Er), V(O)(acac)2, salt, [NH4]2[Ce(NO3)6] and [NH4]4[Ce(SO4)4], results in...

The identification of photoinduced CO/sub 2/ reduction pathways leading to gaseous hydrocarbon species would be an attractive strategy for producing fuels from this inorganic substrate molecule. Of the dispersed semiconductor suspensions, n-SrTiO/sub 3/ has appeared most active photocatalyst with adsorbed energy conversion efficiencies approx. =6% being reported. Furthermore, both and HCHO have been shown photoreduced CH/sub 4/ in presence illuminated suspensions. On SiC CO reducible...

This paper describes the development of a dynamically reconfigurable system that can support multiple applications running concurrently. A allows hardware reconfiguration while part is busy computing. An FPGA resource manager (RM) developed to allocate and de-allocate resources preload configuration files. For each individual application, different tasks require are represented as flow graph which made available RM so enable efficient management preloading. The performance using several...

A new and powerful molecular descriptor termed the LDM (localization–delocalization matrix) has recently been proposed as a fingerprinting tool shown to yield robust quantitative-structure-to-activity/property-relationships (QSAR/QSPR). An lists average number of electrons localized within an atom in molecule along its diagonal while off-diagonal elements are pair-wise shared between every pair atoms molecule, bonded or not. Hence, is representation fuzzy graph that accounts for whereabouts...

Spinel powders for the production of transparent polycrystalline ceramic windows have been produced using a number traditional and sol-gel methods. We demonstrated that magnesium aluminate spinel from reaction organo-magnesium compounds with surface modified boehmite precursors can be used to produce high quality parts.
