The Seebeck and Nernst coefficients $S$ $\ensuremath{\nu}$ of the cuprate superconductor ${\mathrm{YBa}}_{2}{\mathrm{Cu}}_{3}{\mathrm{O}}_{y}$ (YBCO) were measured in a single crystal with doping $p=0.12$ magnetic fields up to $H=28\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{T}$. Down $T=9\text{ }\mathrm{K}$, becomes independent field by $H\ensuremath{\simeq}30\text{ }\mathrm{T}$, showing that superconducting fluctuations have become negligible. In this field-induced normal state, $S/T$ $\ensuremath{\nu}/T$ are...

Using scanning tunneling microscopy at 400 mK, we have obtained maps of around 100 vortices in SnMo(6)S(8) from 2-9 T. The orientational and positional disorder 5 9 T show that these are the first large-scale images a vortex glass. At higher temperature magnetization peak effect is observed, whose upper boundary coincides with lambda anomaly specific heat. Our data favor kinetic glass description melting transition, indicating topological persists fields temperatures far below low-T(c)...

This paper reports on the magnetotransport behavior of Fe–Al2O3 granular thin films when injected dc current is varied. The electric resistance as a function temperature, magnetoresistance, and vs applied bias potential measurements were used to characterize samples. It was found that transport mechanism which best describes electronic properties these samples variable range hopping. Non-Ohmic observed claimed responsible for great modification characteristics system potential. Inversion...

This paper presents a new method to allow more flexibility on the scheduling of messages across fieldbus in overload situations. The proposes on-line adaptation sampling period bus load, trying keep it as low possible during overloads. is allowed change inside an interval corresponding 4 10 samples per rise time. To assess solution herein presented, distributed adaptive control system was implemented TrueTime, using FTT-CAN protocol, for communication infrastructure, pole-placement...
