An input-independent and output-series modular dc-dc converter with multiple input ports high voltage conversion ratio can apply well to medium-voltage dc interface of distributed photovoltaics (PV). However, PV power mismatch will result in output imbalance the submodules (SMs), which is contrary standardized multimodule design. In this article, a multiport low-loss series LC balancing unit (PBU) proposed address problem. isolated employed as SM, consists full-bridge (FB) circuit on side...

A multiport dc/dc converter with cascaded submodules (SMs) can be employed in a photovoltaic (PV) power generation system for its high step-up ratio. Consisting of multiple low-voltage (LV) input ports and one high-voltage (HV) output port, the is more likely to suffer short-circuit faults than two-port converter. To ensure reliable operation converter, fault-tolerant capability should necessarily considered. In this article, topology PV proposed satisfy requirements fault tolerance ability....

DC-DC converters with output-series cascaded submodules (SMs) are required for the medium-voltage direct current (MVDC) grid interface of photovoltaic (PV) systems. However, mismatched power PV arrays can cause an imbalance among output voltages SMs. In order to address this problem, in paper, a multi-port converter is established on basis voltage balancer (VB) novel feedforward voltage-balancing control strategy. The has multiple input terminals and terminal connected MVDC grid....

Using retired power batteries in battery energy storage systems (BESS) is beneficial for environmental protection and cost reduction. Modular multilevel converter (MMC) the most promising structure conversion (PCS) integrated with batteries. However, MMC-based BESS, inter-submodule (SM) active disparity inevitable. It will lead to an increase fundamental circulation capacitor voltage ripple, limiting usable capacity of battery. This paper proposes a bidirectional three-port (BTPC)...

The input independent output series dc/dc converter has one stage of power conversion, which low cost and high efficiency. However, shadow occlusion, dust coverage, manufacturing differences will cause mismatch the photovoltaic panels, in turn causes an unbalanced voltage. To avoid device damage degradation caused by voltage, a novel topology based on multiwinding transformer is proposed. By multiplexing switches each sub-module (SM), this can transmit mismatched among all SMs balance...

A considerable gradient was detected 10-μm sample, which strongly triggers diffusion to Cu side. diffused side form ternary intermetallic compounds (Cu,Ni)6Sn5, possesses lower free energy than Cu6Sn5 does. Eventually, growth Cu3Sn inhibited due formation thermodynamically stable (Cu,Ni)6Sn5.
