This work studies and presents an inner-interface trapping physical model for the ultra-thin (effective oxide thickness=15 Å) zirconium (ZrO2) film to explain its hysteresis phenomenon. The shift of capacitance–voltage characteristics swept from accumulation inversion then back with light illumination is about 110 mV, which larger than without (∼45 mV). mobile ion effect obviated using bias-temperature stress measurement. proposed successfully explains not only phenomenon but also thickness...

We demonstrate the use of a High Reflectivity Grating (HRG) as an intra-cavity element in Semiconductor Disk Laser (or Vertical External Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) to stabilise its emission wavelength and polarization characteristics. Operation at 1058nm with up 645mW pump-limited output power M(2)~1.4 is achieved. also show that this scheme permits tunable single-frequency operation.

The capacitance–voltage (C–V) characteristics of hafnium oxynitride gate dielectrics for silicon metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) capacitors with different sweep voltage were investigated. It was found that, the p-type substrate MOS capacitor, C–V hysterisis has a turnaround characteristic as applied exceeds −3.0 V. phenomenon is explained by electron trappings at low electric field and hole trappings, which resulted from impact ionization, high in dielectrics.
