Thermal energy storage is a key component of solar power plants if dispatchability required. On the other hand, although different systems and many materials are available, only few in world have tested thermal systems. Here, all considered literature and/or used real listed, described analyzed, experiences compiled. The associated heat transfer technologies to support improve these analyzed.
