Curved artificial compound eyes (CACEs) are fabricated using microscale replication, stamping, and casting processes to form deposited 2-D microlens-pattern composite films into 3-D structures. The made up of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)-Parylene-C-PDMS layers. layers used for pattern isolation, buffering, respectively. effect the buffer layer on ultimate structure is discussed. Multiple images human face in lateral- axial-motion modes obtained by these CACE prototypes. These evaluate...

Abstract We report the first thermal study of a triple band plasmonic nanoantenna strongly coupled to molecular mode at mid IR wavelength (MW IR). The hybrid structure supports three spatially and spectrally variant resonances which two are magnetic one is dipolar in nature. A hybridized excited by coupling structure’s with vibrational PMMA 5.79 μm. Qualitative agreement between spectral changes simulation experiment clearly indicates that resistive heating dominant mechanisms behind...

The core of PHM (Prognostic and Health Monitoring) technology is prognostics which able to estimate time failure (TTF) for the monitored components or systems using built-in predictive models. However development models TTF estimation remains a challenge. To address this issue, we proposed develop machine learning-based by techniques from learning data mining. In past decade, have been working on estimating applied developed various real-world applications such as train wheel prognostics,...

Unexpected failures of complex equipment such as trains or aircraft introduce superfluous costs, disrupt operation, have an effect on consumer's satisfaction, and potentially decrease safety in practice. One the objectives prognostics health management (PHM) systems is to help reduce number unexpected by continuously monitoring components interest predicting their sufficiently advance allow for proper planning. In other words, PHM may turn into expected ones. Recent research has demonstrated...

The need for higher equipment availability and lower maintenance cost is driving the development integration of prognostic health management (PHM) systems. Taking advantage advances in sensor technologies, PHM systems enable a predictive strategy through continuously monitoring complex core technology which able to estimate time failure (TTF) monitored components or using built-in models. In this paper, state art TTF estimation will be first reviewed. After introduction traditional methods...

Spintronic magnetic sensors with the integration of materials and microstructures have been enabling people to make use electron spin charge properties in many applications. The high demand for such has turn spurred technology developments both novel their atomic-level controls. Few works, however, carried out reported thus far modeling simulation these spintronic sensing units based on tunnel junction (MTJ) technology. Accordingly, this paper proposes a approach as well an iterative...

A grade crossing is defined as an intersection between a roadway and railway at the same elevation or grade. Multiple new prevention measures have been implemented to reduce number of train-vehicle collisions; however, safety still major issue accidents frequently occur. The push for data-driven models evaluate risks crossings has also increased keep up with changing technologies. There are many different protection types (gates bells, cross-buck, stop-sign, mirrors etc.) that serve warn...

In order to satisfy the demand for highly automated and fully safe ship operation, it is desirable that an Integrated Navigation System (INS) has intelligent decision-making supporting function. Such a function can propose proper maneuvering action operators. Of course, operators should decide final by their judgment supported other available functions of INS. To implement such function, authors have developed collision avoidance expert system this paper, structure knowledge bases, inference...

An advanced test system for vehicle movement stability based on real time kinematic (RTK) differential GPS technology is successfully developed. Vehicle parameters, which represent motion performance, can be acquired in real-time with this system, thereby achieving testing and evaluation. In addition, a superior approach measuring vehicular velocity contrived, solves the difficulty of verifying accuracy precision measurements GPS. The experiment results indicate that feasible advanced.
