Oral cancer is an aggressive disease characterized by low average survival rates. Purpose: To examine the periodontal status in cases of primary oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), potentially malignant disorders (OPMD), periodontitis, and healthy individuals relation to its impact on development OSCC OPMD. Materials/Methods: The study involved 107 with age 54.22±14.38 years (58.9% male, 41.1% female), divided into four groups: Group I – patients (n=43); II OPMD (n=21); III periodontitis IV...

Gilbert's syndrome is the most common cause of hereditary hyperbilirubinemia and poses a clinical challenge for anaesthesiologists. The decreased activity bilirubin uridine glucuronyl transferase can lead to toxicity usual doses anaesthetic agents. We review discuss approach successful safe anaesthesia management in these patients we report case 48-year-old male patient with submitted maxillofacial surgery under general anaesthesia. recommended such includes following: (i) minimizing period...

Abstract Medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) is a relatively rare but serious pathology associated with use bisphosphonates (BPs) and antiresorptive drugs in patients bone metastases, multiple myeloma osteoporosis. Various cases necrosis due to BPs have recently been reported literature. Anti-angiogenic are novel anticancer agents prescribed renal carcinoma, lung soft tissue etc. target vascular endothelial growth factor’s (VEGF) signaling pathways via different mechanisms...

Biopsy and histopathological examination continue to be the gold standards for diagnosing oral cancer potentially malignant disorders (OPMD). The prognosis of these conditions is significantly influenced by established factors such as degree dysplasia, tumour size, grade, patient age. While traditional diagnostic approaches are crucial, there a growing need innovative methods improve diagnosis monitoring conditions. We hypothesize that identifying specific biomarkers in human saliva,...

ABSTRACTLangerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH), previously known as X is a rare disease of unknown ethiology, characterized by intense and abnormal proliferation bone marrow-derived histiocytes (Langerhans cells). It can present both local systemic manifestations involving bone, skin mucosal tissues internal organs.Oral could be the first or only signs this disease. The oral changes may presented single multiple unspecific lesions—this reason for undetected symptoms in lot cases late diagnosis....

Aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) is a rare benign, non-odontogenic osteolytic lesion of the jawbones.Commonly clinical presentation consists pain, significant expansion and facial asymmetry. We report case 14-year-old asymptomatic patient, with aneurysmal cyst, identified on routine X-ray, mistaken dentigerous cyst.Thorough surgical removal cystic was carried out, followed by histopathological examination confirming diagnosis.Long term follow-up showed no complications or recurrence.

Abstract Growth factors (GFs) are bioactive molecules participating in organ development, tissue regeneration and repair. They protein with a relatively low molecular weight released by activated platelets. Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) is one of the GFs highest amount human It known to stimulate cell proliferation extracellular matrix synthesis, as well angiogenesis healthy tissues neoplasms. However, most studies literature demonstrate influence PDGF on without revealing its...

The presence of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in human periodontal ligament (PDL) were first described by Seo et al. 2004. These are capable plastic adherence, colony forming and differentiation into various cell types when cultivated appropriate culture conditions. PDL investigated high number scientists nowadays because their potency for tissue regeneration. However, little is known about the effects active molecules growth factors on properties.
