Estimating design factors like concrete strength and durability is complicated by the cement industry's practice of producing multiple grades for different uses, necessitating substantial labor hours monetary investment. The experimental findings accelerated carbonation-induced corrosion associated characteristics built with high-volume Class F Fly Ash (FA), including AC impendence, half-cell potential, water permeability, volume permeable voids. FA was added to ordinary portland at varied...

Abstract This article presents the experimental results on accelerated carbonation‐induced corrosion and related durability properties such as AC impendence, half‐cell potential, water permeability, volume of permeable voids test concrete made with high‐volume Class F fly ash (FA). Concrete specimens were prepared by substituting ordinary portland cement FA at varying replacement levels (0–70%). High‐volume shows continuous gain in compressive strength ultrasonic pulse velocity over a period...

This paper describes an experimental investigation on the carbonation of Portland pozzolan cement (PPC) concrete with marble dust (MD). The five PPC mixes containing MD (up to 20%) were prepared three different water–cement ratios (0·5, 0·6 and 0·7). All cube specimens exposed natural atmospheric after 28 d moist curing. It was observed that use 10% enhanced compressive strength coefficient decreased increase in content.

The goal of this study was to determine the coefficient permeability as well rate carbonation concrete constructed with rice husk ash (RHA) a partial replacement for cement (i.e., 5%, 10%, and 15%) two different concentrations soap solutions 1 percent 2 percent). microstructural studies RHA, carbonated samples have been conducted by using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis. According study, depth made 1% 2% solution concentration without decreased 11.89%...

This research reports the experimental outcomes of potentiodynamic analysis steel reinforcement in carbonated and uncarbonated high‐volume fly‐ash concrete powder solution extracts (CPSE). Different percentages content have been used to form a (0%, 20%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%) with three different types reinforced. Three water‐to‐binder ratios (0.35, 0.40, 0.45) reinforced concrete. The zones corrosion were observed through anodic polarization curve, which was obtained linear sweep test. It has...

Objectives: Numerical investigations were done using corroded and uncorroded coupons, thereby for casting its prevention the deterioration of structures. Methods/Statistical Analysis: Structural steel which is widely used almost prone to corrosion in aggressive environments. Consistent replacement member uneconomical therefore yield strength has be determined order estimate reduced stresses members. This paper presents numerical modelling 4 coupons extracted from angle 50x50x5mm 7 80NB...

In this paper, the improvement of performance a piezoelectric (PZ) cantilever beam using non-uniform substrate thickness is presented. This reduces resonant frequency, improves stress distribution and generates more output voltage power. Both analytical finite-element method analyses were performed to investigate effect tapered on PZ beam. A was used in rectangular trapezoidal structures. All designed structures had same fabrication area, their evaluated compared an excitation acceleration...

Bauxite residue (Red mud) is one of the industrial caustic waste materials obtained from alumina production. Because high annual production, it requires costs and vast landfills to dispose it. In addition, due alkalinity, disposal red mud (RM) may cause serious environmental problems. Considering use concrete beside economic issues cement replacing by seems inevitable. this study, RM has been used as 10% replacement mass in order study performance material (HPC) terms their mechanical...
