A new method for protein extraction from yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells is described. This involves the use of LiAc and NaOH to enhance permeability cell wall prior with SDS-PAGE sample buffer. It was safe efficient compared other methods reported so far in literature. The proteins extracted this retained their immunoreactive properties are suitable most applications molecular biology studies.

Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) have been applied widely in agriculture, and many studies were conducted to evaluate the effect of ZnO NPs on plant growth. So far, few investigated with regard potential cereal yield formation or Zn content grains. Herein, we used a pot experiment, which was involving five dosages (0.3, 0.6, 1.2, 2.4, 4.8 g pot−1), impacts made rice yield, dry matter accumulation, quality grain contents. The results demonstrated that increased production grain,...

A highly efficient Agrobacterium-mediated transformation method is needed for the molecular study of model tree species such as hybrid poplar 84K (Populus alba × P. glandulosa cv. '84K'). In this study, we report a callus-based that exhibits high efficiency and reproducibility. The optimized callus induction medium (CIM1) induced development calli from leaves with efficiency, multiple shoots were growing on shoot (SIM1). Factors affecting frequency follows: Agrobacterium concentration sets...

Abstract The search for an effective zinc fertilizer and its application method to effectively increase content enhance aroma in rice grains is a crucial objective. In this study, 2-year field plot experiment was conducted investigate the influence of ZnO NPs foliar spraying on quality, grain content, along with exploring physiological mechanisms underlying these effects. Our results demonstrated that breakdown value taste oxide nanoparticles were improved by 31.0–41.7% 8.2–13.0% compared CK...
