This paper presents continuous, high resolution fossil pollen and microcharcoal records from Bo Langvlei, a lake in the Wilderness Embayment on South Africa’s southern Cape coast. Spanning past ~1300 years encompassing Medieval Climate Anomaly (MCA; c.
